Robert Lewin

Robert "Tony" Lewin passed away on February 23, 2026, just seventeen days after the loss of his beloved wife of 55 years, Pam. Born in Richmond, England, Tony emigrated to South Africa as a young boy. He later completed his studies in Accountancy at the University of the Witwatersrand before immigrating to Victoria, BC, where he built both his career and his life. Tony became well known as a trusted financial advisor with Mutual Life of Canada and later Freedom 55 Financial. His honest, thoughtful, and caring approach to his clients was his hallmark, earning him deep respect and trust within the industry. Tony is survived by his son, David and his partner, Stephen; his daughter, Laura and her husband, Stephan; and his cherished granddaughters, Julia and Elise, who have many fond memories of their beach and swimming holidays with Grandpa. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit and his upbeat approach to life.
