Larry & Linda (my cousin) have been a couple to look up to, for their skills, worldly knowledge and down to earth, & sincere personalities. Always a pleasure to visit with whether camping or at their home, or at ours. I miss them both.

Having known Larry for the last 77 years, I can vouch for what a special and unique individual he was. And he will be sorely missed. Larry´s family and my family first connected in the late `40s early ` 50s when our families both lived on Crease Avenue. Our mothers became lifelong friends, connecting initially over the task of laundry, one had a washer, the other a dryer, and they shared. Many childhood moments were special with Larry - wagon trains up and down then unpaved Crease Avenue, floating on logs in undeveloped Cadboro Bay, picnics and swim lessons out at Elk Lake, exploring nearby Chinese daffodil fields and Colquitz Creek, with its frogs and fish waiting to fascinate exploring neighborhood kids. Larry, was always part of our adventures...enthusiastic, kind, and fun to be with! Larry played a special part in my own, and my brother´s lives, Bud and Ken Webb, and he supported me as we lost them both. Even though we lived in different cities over the years, we stayed connected. I admired Larry´s skills as an expert machinist, his talent in building two beautiful homes for him and Linda, both exquisitely, artistic, yet warm and inviting. Larry was not ready to go, and had plans for the future. Now we carry on without him, remembering his vibrancy, his amazing talent, his love of friends and family, especially Linda, and his remarkable human spirit. May you rest in peace, dear Larry. Doug and I send our sincere condolences to Murray (Pat) Wendy (Barry), Janet, and their families. May the wonderful memories help you cope. Love, Doug and Carol Ann Kielau (Webb)

Sad to hear of Larry's passing . He was very talented machinist and it showed in the '32 Ford he built over several years with help from his good pal John Van Munster. He was a perfectionist and a true "car guy" . RIP Larry , and my condolences to his family .
