Robert Rancier

RANCIER, Robert (Bob) Born on November 29, 1929 at Strome, AB passed away with his family at his side on January 24, 2005. He is predeceased by his grand daughter Carole Young in 2004. Bob will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Val (nee Arthurs) of 48 years, daughter Tracey (Frank) Dela Riva, sons Jim and Garnett (Judy), his grandchildren; Derek, Rebecca, Kirsty, Ryan, Sami, Keenan, and his great grandson Junior. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Gordon (Elsie), Betty (Cecil), Jean (Ralph), Norman (Shireen), his brother-in-law Colin Arthurs numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Bob had many passions including his family, owner and operator of the BC Shaver and Hobbies for many years, fishing, hunting, the life outdoors and what it provided. The family would like to thank the many hands of Royal Jubilee Hospital who gave us the gift of this last year with Bob. Celebration of Life for Bob will be held in the Cordova Bay United Church, 813 Claremont Avenue, Victoria, BC on Saturday, January, 29, 2005 at 1:00pm. Following the service a reception will be held at McMorrans Beach House Restaurant, 5109 Cordova Bay Rd. at 2:15pm. Flowers gratefully declined.
