I am very sorry to read about Bob's passing. I was his executive assistant at CLEU for two years from 1982 to 1984. He was always a smart, fair, considerate gentleman and could be a quite funny. I remember finding him prying off the colours on a rubic's cube as he was determined to complete the task. He spoke of his children with a genuine tenderness and great pride. Such a nice person. I hope he is sailing on sunny sea with full sails.

I knew Bob since 40 years, when he and his family arrived at Easter Sunday 1978 at our house in Hersbruck, Bavaria. The contact was made through my mothers cousin, who was a colleague of him in the Attorneys Office.Since then we were good friends and had many nice times together, in Germany and in Canada. We will miss him and always remember him. Our sympathies to the family.

Our next door neighbour most remembered by me for his amazing handstands! So very sorry to hear of his passing. Many wonderful memories of the Simson family.

Meeting at Athlone School at age 4, we became lifelong friends and went on to schooling at at Shawnigan and UBC. Always a bit of a jokester he got extra attention at school by claiming his birthday was on February 14, and that his middle name was "Celery". My sympathies to the family.
