Robert W. Tolson

March 26, 1926 - February 16, 2015

With sadness we announce the passing of our father after a long battle with COPD. Dad died quietly in his own home Monday afternoon. Predeceased by his loving wife (and our Mom) of over 55 years, Peggy (nee Margaret Louise Parker), he is survived by his children and their spouses Bill, Mindy, and Don (Monica) and the grandchildren, Jeremy and Benjamin. We're sure Bob and Peggy are back basking in the sunshine on the deck of their Saltspring Island home - listening to the birds and laughing at the rabbits and deer as they munch through the vegetables and roses. We will miss them both very much.

Many, many thanks to the staff of Sidney Senior Care who provided Dad with such wonderful care in his final months. We (and he) couldn't have done it without you.

Dad's ashes will be placed next to Mom's at First Memorial Gardens in Victoria on Saturday, March 28th at 1pm. A private memorial celebration/drop-in will be held at Dad's house the next day (Sunday), starting at 11am.
