WICKS, Robert Roy
1950 - 2025
Robert Roy Wicks was born on July 26, 1950 to Frederick and Olive Wicks in Vancouver, BC and peacefully transitioned to be with his Lord on May 21, 2025.

Rob was raised in Victoria, BC, where he met his best friend and wife of 53 years. Rob attended the Vancouver School of Theology, was a dedicated church elder, volunteer, proud and loving father, grandfather and brother. Rob will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to the church, sense of humour, and for helping those in need.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Frederick (1982) and Olive (2006). He is survived by his wife Betsy, four children Alex (Kelly), Bob, Aaron (Amanda), Kimberly (Jeremy), six Grandchildren Grace, William, James, Caileigh, Bria, and Cameron, and his brother Gary.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Victoria, BC on Saturday, June 28th at 11:00am with Reverend Harold McNabb officiating.

Rob, Dad, Grandad we will miss you very much. We love you.

Betsy and family, l have just heard about Rob. I am soooo sorry for your loss. I worked with Rob at a group home and he was such a beautiful and kind man. He loved his family soooo much, and was always telling me funny stories. He will be missed. May God comfort you at this sad time. Rest in Peace Rob. Fly with the angels
