Robert Willows Obituary
1964 - 2013
It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Willows on May 30, 2013 in Victoria BC at the age of 49 years. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his brother Glen Willows, sister Nancy Willows and husband Pete Lawson, nephew Bryan Lawson and niece Jessica Lawson, Kevin and Laura Farmer, Brenda Martin, Terrence Miranda, Amanda Kaiser, Kim Oldham and so many other great friends. It is often tempting to overstate the qualities of a person after their death; this is impossible with Rob as he was a genuinely wonderful, generous, fun and kind person. No one that knew him didn't love him and consider him a dear friend who they could count on for advice and support. We will miss him so much.
Rob was predeceased by his parents Barbara and Alan Willows, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. An informal gathering will be held June 16, 2013 in Victoria, for details email [email protected]. If desired, please consider making a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

So sorry to hear we lost Rob. I used to play in a band with him when we were teenagers growing up in Victoria. He was very talented and a gentle soul. RIP friend.

I was a friend of Rob's during his UVic radio days at CFUV and during and intra-mural flag football title run. Rob was always a positive guy and a team player. I have many fond memories of the times we spent together.

All I can say about Rob is "What a sweetheart!" He was warm, kind, caring, fun, funny, eloquent and super social. We are all better off for having known him.

Sorry to hear of Rob's passing. I knew Rob from when I worked for he Min of Social Development. I didn't know him very well, but he was always very friendly and kind.

I was so sorry to hear about Rob. My brother and I went to school with him, and I 'remember him as a super sweet guy. I liked him. I know it hurts right now but in time your pain and hurt will turn into smiles as you remember him and sometimes laugh out loud about something that you may remember he said or did. Stay Strong!
