CHOWN, Robin George
December 23, 1941 - May 5, 2025
Born in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England. Robin departed peacefully on his final travels on May 5th, in VGH, Victoria, BC, surrounded by his loving family. He will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, Jo, daughter, Jayne, grandsons, Tim (Zlatina) and Gavin (Chantelle), sister, Susan and brother, John.
Many thanks to the nurses and doctors in the ICU at VGH for their kindness and wonderful care of Robin.
Tributes, if desired, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Robin was a character! I do mean that in the nicest way possible. His laugh, huge smile...I wish we had more time.

I am so sorry to read of Robin's death. I met Jo and Robin while working on BC Ferries and it was my pleasure to escort them to the bridge of one of the Spirit Class ships. A lovely man. I only wish we'd have developed a friendship. Jo, if I can help in any way please let me know. You'll be 'gutted' to have lost Robin. The two of you were the epitome of a loving couple, looking forward to your new adventure in Dean Park. I wish you all the very best, Jo.
