With heavy hearts, we announce that Rudy died peacefully at home on April 21, 2025, with wife Debbie by his side after a short battle of cancer. Born in Venlo, Holland on June 22, 1947, his family moved to Victoria, B.C. in 1952.

He leaves behind wife Debbie, his daughter Laura (Craig), granddaughter Kylie, son David (Stacy), siblings Elisabeth (Keith), Roely, John, Hank (Cheryl), Tiny, Wendy (Norm) and many nieces, nephews as well as many family members on Vancouver Island and in the Netherlands.
