He was a very nice, caring, quiet and gentle person. We believe him to be a good and caring father though we never knew him when his children were small and know it as a very good husband to his loving wife, Noreen. We had fun square dancing with Roger and Noreen and travelled some with them in the course of chasing down a square dance, even as far away as Ottawa. We are very happy to have know him and shared some of our life with the two of them. Our condolences to Noreen and the family. Sincerely, Marcel and Corrine Labelle

Sorry to hear about Roger's passing. I was lucky to have played some golf with him and his DND buddies.

Dear Norene: So very sad to read that Roger passed away.
We were fortunate to be your neighbours for over 30 year.
We admired how Roger always kept your yard looking so nice. He was friendly, kind and always more than happy to help us when ever we needed anything. Even when he got sick he always kept a positive attitude. He was loved and respect by so many people. Thinking of you and your family as you grieve the loss of Roger.

I’m going to miss seeing Roger at the JDF Seniors Centre, he always had a kind word for everyone that he came across.
The Do You Want To Dance Friday night dances, will not be the same without Roger at the helm. RIP Roger

May loving memories and healing tears help Roger’s family during this difficult and trying time. Roger, you were an outstanding boss all those many years ago and set the bar high for those that followed. Fair winds and following seas.

My last recollection of Roger was the last rehearsal, March 12, 2020, of the Wizard of Oz, when he, as the Wizard, went sailing away in the bucket of a hot air balloon. Good bye Roger. We will miss you.

Norene, we are devastated to hear of Roger’s death.
We shared so many wonderful memories of both you and Roger square dancing, camping, dinners together and the memorable round dance classes in your living room!
We think you you both often. Love from us both.
