Ronald DODD Obituary

Ron Dodd passed away on March 6, 2026, in Parksville, BC. A career pilot, Ron and family led an adventure that spanned all corners of Canada and beyond. He is survived by his wife Carolyn; children Tracey (Siva) and Gordon (Angela); and his grandchildren, Jordon, Eric, Gabriel, and Grace. Details on memorial livestream at [email protected]

Ron was a great friend and singing buddy. He sang a great bass part in our quartet "Serendipity" and we competed several times. I miss him.

Ron and I were touching down in a military Boeing 707 in Edmonton when we suffered a complete hydraulic failure. Notably I was Squadron Flight Safety Officer and Ron was Trenton Base Flight Safety Officer! The paper work started right away!
