Mr Heaps and I did not know each other well, but my sole interaction with left an indelible memory of a standup, decent human being. The story is too long to tell here, but suffice to say years ago I bought an immaculately kept almost vintage travel trailer from him. Clearly it held treasured memories of many trips with his family who he obviously adored. He looked me in the eye with a firm gaze and made me promise to take care of it, to respect it and to remember it was more than some trailer it was a storehouse of a family´s love.
I own it to this day and I have. Rest In Peace good man.

To Rons family Sorry to hear of Ron's passing , I met Ron in 70s and enjoyed our days as competitors in the electrical trade and our friendship. May he rest in peace
