Yes I think of Ronny a lot and miss him dearly. As the youngest of all the brothers I looked up to him for a variety of things. His love of the outdoors gave me many memories of him and I cherise those adventures. Be well my brother and I will see you one day. Love Scott

In the course of a life spanning 6 decades there have been good times and bad. I remember back to those times that were tough and one person always comes to mind: Ron MacDonald. When life was crashing down Ron seemed to always be there as a friend and brother. He was someone you could count on...no matter what. A real stand-up guy. I feel greatly honored to have been his friend, fellow musician and a partner in the gold placer-lease for many years. I think of him always. Such a good and kind man could only go onward to a better thing.

Ron MacDonald is one of the dearest friends I ever had. We shared many happy boyhood adventures, and as men we always loved and respected each other. I miss him as I'm sure we all do, but wherever you are, dear brother, I know we'll be following in due time...so let us not say goodbye, but rather au revoir.

My old and great friend and brother of Ron--Bill MacDonald--passed this link onto me.
Though I didn't know Ron well we connected through music and he was a true soul. My sincere condolences to the remaining MacDonald and all friends and family who have suffered this loss of a loved one.

Ron MacDonald escorted me into a wonderful world of love, laughter, community, music and family.
His gentle spirit and modest wisdom held him above others.
Ron loved easily and well, his devotion to his family and friends was unconditional, natural and knowing.

I now regularly talk to eagles, owls and seals.I know we connect.Ronny taught me that.

Thank you,

Ragnhild Flakstad

I'll be forever grateful that we lived so close to Ron in the last few months of his life. I loved when he'd pop by for a visit - sitting out on the porch shooting the breeze. His last visit, just a few days before he passed, still makes me smile whenever I think about it. Miss your Ron.

I miss you more everyday ... you were a wonderful brother and so many times a great 'stand-in father'. Thanks for the Saturday matinees and your gift of music.
