Ronald Stirling Obituary


STIRLING, Ronald W. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, October 22, 1923. Ron died peacefully on Thursday, May 28 with Senga, his devoted wife of 63 years, at his side and in the gentle care of the nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit of Saanich Peninsula Hospital. Pre-deceased by daughter Nadine in 1991, he will be held in loving memory by his three children Maureen, Brian (Joan), Robert (Sandra), Grandchildren Sarah, Sam, Jonathan, Shane, Courtney, Emma, James, and Andrew and Great Grandchildren Josef and Khenyan. A celebration of Ron's life will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary of First Unitarian Church of Victoria, 5575 West Saanich Road. Phone 250-744-2665.
