Ruby Elliott Obituary

ELLIOTT, Ruby July 12, 1926 - November 11, 2016 Ruby enjoyed being part of the Wellesley community for 12 years. She was admitted to VGH on November 7th and died peacefully a few days later. Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Gordon, in 2013 and is survived by her two children, Joyce and Brian (Elizabeth). The family would like to thank Dr. Dennis Francis, the caring staff of the Wellesley as well as Dr. Barclay and the VGH staff. A Remembrance Tea will be held on Thursday, December 1st at 2:30 pm in the Dogwood Room at The Wellesley, 2800 Blanshard St.

Ruby was a good friend to my Mother In Law, Mildred Hannah. They became acquainted when they both lived in Clarence House condos & then both ended up moving to the Wellsley. My husnad had met her on a few occassions when visiting his Mom. I had the pleasure of meeting Ruby and her daughter Joyce when my Mom and I were on the same California Coastal Cruise last April.
