Born to Rod and Juanita Turner in Victoria, Rusty grew up playing rugby and enjoying many adventures. He started logging at a young age and later moved to Tahsis to continue his logging career. He is survived by his wife Brenda, kids Tyler (Lisa) and Melanie (Matt Falk), grandchildren Logan and Grace, brothers Jim (Karen) and Bill (Linda), sister Sandra, nephews Michael (Danielle), Shane (Karli), Brian (Katelyn), Brad (Kayla) and all his great nieces and nephews. Rusty lived his life with integrity, passion and a generous heart for everything and everyone he knew.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 7 at 2:00 pm at the Strawberry Vale Community Hall, 11 High St, Victoria, BC.
