I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Sandra.
Her father Ian was a good shipmate of mine from 1970 on Salt Spring to his passing.
Her mother Margaret was a lovely lady, who I met that year as well.
They loved their children dearly.

Claire,
I am so very sorry for the passing of your mom. I didn't know Sandra well but she was a wonderful woman. Looking after Uncle Colin in his younger years she took on quite the challenge. Be strong little one and know that so very many love you dearly and are here for you not only now but further down the road Sunshine.
You know me as Louise Nicholson

Dear Claire,

I want to express my condolences to you on the passing of
your mother. Although really I didn't know her, when I did meet her last summer. I was impressed with her presence and professionalism. She seemed like a lovely person indeed. I hope you will be comforted by the memories you and your family share as you journey through this time of loss.
Sincerely, Mary Bruce

Dear Claire, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's difficult to lose a parent, especially so young. I can tell you from experience that you will be comforted often by the many wonderful memories of your mom. I won't make it to the memorial but I will be thinking of you. Much love, Janis
