Sharron Wilkinson Obituary

WILKINSON - Dorothy Sharron, 72, of Victoria BC, died peacefully at Victoria Hospice on Wednesday January 14th after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Keith Wilkinson and children Elizabeth, Dorothy, Laura and Robert along with her stepchildren Loesha, Derek, Ross and Fay. Sharon was a loving grandmother to sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and many dear friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday January 29th, 2015 at 2pm at First Metropolitan United Church, 932 Balmoral Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria Hospice or BC Cancer Agency. Heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and medical staff whose loving care and support will always be remembered.

Aunt Sharron loved nothing more than family and her many good friends. Her home was always welcoming and she had many stories to share. I have always admired the wonderful friendship, love, and companionship between Aunt Sharron and Uncle Keith. My thoughts and love are with him and all of the family.

Our families are linked through Keith and Lyall as well as through the Friendship Club at First Met. We will always remember Sharron's energy and kindness.
