Sheena Guest

GUEST, Sheena (nee Stuart) Died in Victoria, BC on April 28, 2018. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland on June 8, 1929. Predeceased by her husband Howard in 2009; Sheena is survived by her sons Stuart (Lynne) and Donald (Cathy); and her grandchildren Phillip, Christopher, Lara and Neil; her brothers Alan and Ronald. She will be missed by her friends especially David McAlary and Charlotte Murrell. Sheena was educated at Park School in Glasgow and trained as a physician at Glasgow University. She interned in Hartford Connecticut where she met Howard. They returned to Winnipeg where they raised their two sons. When the boys were in school she undertook further training prior to commencing a family practice with a focus on obstetrics. In 1987 Sheena and Howard retired to Metchosin before moving into Victoria, BC. After Howard's death Sheena moved to Carlton House at Oak Bay. Sheena's main interest was people and she pursued many interests that enhanced her relationships. A Celebration of Life will be held at Carlton House, 2080 Oak Bay Avenue on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
