Sheena Murray Obituary

MURRAY, Sheena
July 29, 1935 - March 4, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother Sheena; she passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters at Sunrise. Mum was pre-deceased by her loving husband Wilson, September 15, 2019. They were married for 64 years.
Sheena was born Jane White Kennedy in Greenock, Scotland, daughter to Mary Orr Kennedy and Andrew McBride Kennedy. She met and married Wilson in April 1955. The following March, Lynn was born, and five months later they bravely sought a new life in Canada. Colleen was born two years later, and Angela arrived four years after that.
Mum is survived by her daughters Lynn (Robin), Colleen (Dana), Angela (Russ), and her loving sister May McGarry. Grandchildren Keli, Chris (Linda), Morgan, Chris, Chase, Rebecca (Hayden) and Brad. Great grandchildren, Ben and Thomas. Grand fur babies, Stella, Ghost and Louie.
Predeceased by her brother Roy Kennedy (Freda); her sister, Margaret Coles (Jim); and brother-in-law, Jim McGarry.
Mum lived a long full life, always at Dad's side. She was the CEO to the chairman of the board. She finally got her wish; she's dancing with Wilson again.
We would like to praise the amazing Care Managers and staff at Sunrise who looked after mum, "Sheena darling", as though she was their own mother. We are forever grateful.

My condolences to the Murray family. I will always remember when your dad traveled all over north America with your mum by his side, I always envied what they shared.

Sincere condolences to the Murray family and in particular to her daughter Lynn whom I first met at Monterey school. I have fond memories of the Murray family when they lived on Hampshire road. You will meet your mom again

Dear Grandma,
I could not have asked for better grandparents as I was growing up. I loved it when you came to visit us. It was always so much fun. I will miss you in many ways. Especially sending you postcards. I´ll be sure to tell Thomas lots of stories about you.
Love you heaps and give grandpa a hug from me. You two were magic.
Love Chris, Linda, Thomas and Louie
