VAIL, Sheila (nee Roberts)
May 12, 1929 - August 28, 2024
Sheila Vail (nee Roberts), age 95, of Victoria, BC, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 12, 1929, Sheila was a cherished member of her community and a beloved mother, grandmother and friend.
Sheila is predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Don Vail. Sheila is survived by son Gerald Vail, her three granddaughters, 14 great grandchildren and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity. Sheila was known for her many accomplishments: the Victoria girls drill team, working at Woodwards for 29 years, Sendial, and hospice care. In moving to Pipeline it brought out her creativity in gardening and planning social events.
A celebration of Sheila's life will be held on September 6th, 2024, in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC at 10am.

Sincere condolence to the family on the loss of such a wonderful woman. Sheila was a long time and hard worker for the Victoria Branch of the Navy League. She was a very dedicated parent of a cadet and her support of RCSCC Rainbow and NLCC Adm. Rayner was very much appreciated.Rest in Peace, Sheila Sincerely Don Bendall
