Sterling Horner Obituary

Sterling passed away peacefully on September 16, 2014 at the age of 82 at Saanich Peninsula Hospital surrounded by family after a lengthy illness. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario and raised in Shawville, Quebec. Sterling eventually travelled West to Calgary working for Telus for 32 years and after retiring resided in Sidney, B.C. for the last 17 years. Sterling will be dearly missed by his wife Jan, sons Kevin (Eryne), Dan (Glenda) and Jon (Jana) and daughters Kathy (Willie) and Shannon, grandchildren Kyle (Jamie) and Jordan and great grandchildren Claire and Hailey. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church located at 1319 Mills Road in North Saanich, BC.
