Susan didn't want anybody to know her cancer had returned; she was a very private person. As her executor I was trying to do what she wished. I was notified by the Royal Jubilee Hospital that she had passed away in September 2025. I found out that she made the nurses and doctors laugh up to her last day.
Susan was predeceased by her parents. She was sadly estranged with her sister and nephews.
Susan made arrangements ahead of time for herself to be cremated. I was honoured by Susan for letting me look after her things. Susan left all her belongings to Women in Need and gave donations to 3 different charities.
