Tammy PAINTER

PAINTER Tammy (November 1, 1959 - December 24, 2002). With broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Tammy. Tammy touched everyone she knew her with her gentle kindness and tender compassion. All who knew her learned just how special her sharp wit, sense or humor, love of laughter, tremendous generosity and genuine affection really were. Tammy was an extremely talented athlete and baseball player in her healthier years. Whether it was pitching, third base, cleanup hitteror playing with cracked ribs, Tammy was able to outperform anyone on the field. Mastering the art of cooking, she never sent family or friends away without their goodie bags. She truly loved to delight those who came to visit and as a talentedsinger and songwriter, Tammy could soothe the soul with her million dollar voice. Tammy's incredible will to live was fueled by her deep desire to see her son Mark grow up. Through it all, she never drew attention to herself and always downplayed her own reality. Until the end Tammy maintained that strength, naturally and instinctively choosing to encourage and comfort others. Tammy will be forever missed, forever loved and forever remembered by her son Mark, soul mate Maureen, faithful companion Brandy and her many good friends. God took her from us that day, but also took her pain, and for that we are grateful A Celebration of Tammy's Life will take place Saturday January 18,2003 2:00 p.m. @ St. David By The Sea 5182 Cordova Bay Road Victoria, B.C.
