Terrence TUEY

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terrence Walter Tuey on January 22, 2025, just days before his 77th birthday. Terry was known for being an avid golfer and bowler and often described himself as an intellectual academic. He worked his entire career at the McPherson Library at the University of Victoria. He started as a Student Assistant while he worked on his Undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science. Upon graduation he became a regular employee in Circulation and then spent the latter years of his employment with the Department of Special Collections and Archives. He is survived by his mother Joyce, his children Brendan and Jennifer, his sister Kathleen, his niece Waneta, as well as his 7 grandchildren and his grand-niece and grand-nephew.
