Thomas Ashmore Obituary

ASHMORE, Thomas Alan 77, Passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Royal Jubilee Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born August 15, 1939 in Brampton, Ontario and moved to Victoria, BC with his wife and children in 1973. Tom was an avid outdoorsman and animal lover. He was known for his kindness, compassion and always gave a helping hand. Tom is survived by his wife Michele, children Robyn (Vince), Glen (Donna) and Brian (Tina), sister Helen Gibson and brothers Robert and Douglas Ashmore and all extended families. Tom will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at 12:00pm Sunday, February the 12th at Strawberry Vale Community Club, 11 High St., Burnside Rd West. Please dress casually/comfortably and bring yours stories to share. In lieu of flowers a donation to either Vancouver Island Retriever Club or the BC SPCA in Tom's name would be greatly appreciated.

Michele, Glen, Brian and Robyn, We were so sorry to hear of Tom's passing and we offer our sincere condolences.
