Thomas KLASSEN

September 01, 1947 - May 15, 2023

Thomas (Tom) Klassen, age 75, passed away on May 15th, 2023 at his family home in Ladysmith, BC after a long battle with cancer. Tom is survived and deeply mourned by his only son Oliver Enzo Klassen (wife Alisha Babcock & granddaughter Josie Jean), his stepdaughter Rebecca Hope Giles (& grandson Daxton) and brother Gerhard Klassen (wife Barbara and daughter Jula). Tom was born in Germany and came to Canada with his parents as a very young child. He grew up in Vancouver, BC and eventually settled in Victoria. He was the owner/operator of the successful Shelbourne Plaza Barber Shop since 1987. He will be remembered fondly by his many loyal customers and staff. He is predeceased by his parents Klara Schlüter & Gerhard Fredrich Klassen. Tom requested no service be held and his ashes be scattered in the outgoing tide at Dallas Road, in privacy.
