Thomas LIDDELL Obituary

It is with the greatest of sadness that the family of Thomas Martin Liddell (Marty) announce his passing on November 30, 2020. He was born in Victoria, BC February, 1937 to Tom and Kay Liddell. He is survived by Ruth, his loving wife of 45 years, his brother Bruce (Marie) Liddell, his children: Connie, Christie and Craig Liddell, Judy (David) McCoy, Wendy (Robert) Cozens, Debbie (Russell) Rimmer, Tim (Debbie) Achtzner, Patrick (Lory) Achtzner, 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 2 nephews Douglas and Robert.

He attended Willows Elementary and Oak Bay High School. He then worked at The Queen's Printers for 37 years until retirement.

Marty loved to cook (and he made a wicked rum and coke!) He used his printing experience, after retiring, in his involvement at the Honeymoon Bay RV Park where he and Ruth enjoyed fishing, boating, and BBQs with family and friends. They also loved travelling and RV-ing. He enjoyed golfing and lawn bowling, but his favourite times were spent surrounded by family.

Many thanks to Dr. Ismail and the caring staff at Cerwydden with a special thanks to Diane and his home caregiver, Adele. There will be no service at his request. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.
