You were the best brother in the world. I can't imagine having grown up without you there. We used to look at the stars together. Every star looks like you now. I'll miss you until the end of time, love, your little sister, Tina

Goodbye dad. It's been a year today, but it still hasn't fully set in. I still talk about you in first tense, and why not? You live on through your loved ones' memories of you, through your garden, shared knowledge, and through me. I am eternally grateful for the years you dedicated to me, and to the people that were so helpful and loving through his illness and after, and those that came yesterday to the house to remember him, and my aunt Tina for the obit. I'll be making paper snowflakes to remember him this Christmas, and every Christmas to come, let's be honest, and encourage the same.
I'll love you forever, find peace in your heart.
