Tony Robinson Obituary

ROBINSON, John Anthony "Tony"
March 26, 1942 - October 6, 2025
Tony died at SPH under a full moon with his wife at his bedside. Born in W. Tanfield, Yorks, UK, emigrating to Canada with his first wife and two "bairns" in 1974. A warm, loving, English gentleman, mischievous, hard working, talented and creative - never a challenge unmet. Built and designed his own homes; the most memorable being an Oceanside rugged off-the-grid beachhouse on a remote island and an old farmhouse on an acreage on south Salt Spring where he and his wife spent the happiest days of their time together with their faithful golden retriever Charlie. Travelled to many countries, enjoyed endless days boating exploring the Gulf and San Juan Islands.
Survived by his wife Felicity, his much loved children Jackie (Roger), Steve (Annette), stepchildren Grant (Karen), John (Patrice), Sarah (Ken), 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brothers Jeff and David in the UK, 2 nieces, 4 nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents and sister Cynthia from Norfolk Island.
Sincere gratitude to the paramedics, Dr's Andrew and Eric, nurse Jessie and Christian, all their support staff and Dr Greg Rideout, you did your best to restore that twinkle in his eyes!

RIP my love

His ashes to be spread upon the sea and in a bluebell wood beside a river at his birthplace in the UK next to the church where his parents & other family members are laid to rest. A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
