Uwe Steinke Obituary
STEINKE, Uwe Passed away suddenly after a severe stroke on June 7, 2006 in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Renate. Survived by sons Heiko (Norma) and Michael; daughter Kim (Tim) Beresford; grandchildren Bradley, Crystal, Alyssa, Christopher, Chelsea and Austin. Uwe was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed time in the garden or riding his bike. He will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial Service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 317 Goldstream Avenue, Victoria, BC on Sunday June 11, 2006 at 1:00 pm. 255226

To Kim, Tim and Austin...
I did not know your dad for very long, however, I really got to know what a wonderfully caring and gentle man he was. Always willing to share a story about something, or sit and have a cup of coffee with us in the back yard, he always had a smile on his face.
He would definitely be proud of you , and he will be sadly missed.
