Vera WATSON

WATSON, Vera With a heavy heart, we wish to announce the passing of the kind and gentle soul of Vera Watson on May 8, 2013. She was born on February 15, 1924 in Edmonton, Alberta and grew up in Bon Accord, AB. Vera went to Mt. Royal College in Calgary and worked for several years. She married Cam Watson on November 1, 1947. She was predeceased by her parents Louis and Ethel Neilson, and her husband Cam Watson. She is survived by her kids Sherry (Larry) Chassie, and Lou Watson; 2 grandchildren Kari and Jason (Shannon) Chassie; 2 great-grandchildren Seanna and Alexa Chassie, and many other special relatives. Memorial service will be held at Sequoia Gardens Memorial (4665 Falaise Dr.) on Saturday, May 25th, at 2:00 pm. A reception will be held at Uplands Golf Course on Sunday, May 26th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Special thanks to Dr. John Kelly and the Royal Jubilee Hospice staff.
