My deepest condolences to all my cousins and their families. Even though we grew up what seemed like a million miles away, we always found time to get together with our cousins. My Mom and Dad (Pete´s brother) often shared stories of younger years and I was always fond of seeing Aunt Verna in my older years and when I moved west. Much of that generation is gone now (my own Mom in November of 2022 but we are all left with such good memories that will last forever. RIP Aunt Verna

Sincere condolences to the Reimer family. We have very fond memories of Verna as our families became very close friends in the 1950s. She was our friend and neighbour while we grew up first on Vale/Shamrock Street and later in the Royal Oak area. Our families spent many memorable vacations and special holidays together. Vacations included hilarious times driving to Saskatchewan and back. Our moms were best friends and remained so for over 70 years. We can remember them chatting on the phone for hours even though they just lived across the street from each other. We will miss her too. Rest in Peace Verna.
Grant, if there is anything you need please call us at anytime. x

Dear Grant & Tim & families - So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Recalling times of our youth when neighbors on Old West Saanich Road & later at Royal Oak school. And your Dad, Pete, coming to visit me when we were both in RJH in the 1960's. My sincere condolences to you all. Respectfully,
