Vincent ORR Obituary

It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Vince at home.
Now reunited with brother Don, parents Don and Reena, and nephew Wyatt.
Vince is survived by his loving wife Carol; sons Jamie (Robin), Ryan (Karri) and their mother Lynn; stepdaughters Jaclyn Burgoyne (JC) and Pamela Alix (Bryan); siblings Terry, Barbara Wotten, Colleen Macintosh (Stephen), Kevin (Donna), Pat (Bob); in-laws Dave Swanbeck, Jim Swanbeck (Peggy O'Connor), Linda Gagnon and mother-in-law Margaret Bryan. Cherished Grandad to Gabriel, Taylor, Robbie, Makaio, Cooper and Teagan. Vince will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends, including Al Strandlund with whom he had a special friendship spanning 60 years.
Vince loved golfing, travelling, watching the Vancouver Canucks, babies and family time. He had a heart of gold and was there for his loved ones whenever we needed him. Vince was strong, loving, protective of us all and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
Special thanks to Dr Wade, Dr Davison and Nurse Bonnie for their compassion and TLC.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 13 at 1:00pm at the Chief and PO's Mess at 1575 Lyall St, Victoria BC.
Flowers gratefully declined; if desired, donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House.

Dearest Uncle Vince,
I am so sad to be writing this as you are now in Heaven resting in peace. I am going to miss you so much and your passing has left a huge hole in all of our hearts.
You had such an incredible heart, the best laugh, and were just so good and kind. You helped me in so many ways growing up. You were with me and helped me choose my first car. You and Carol spent so many Easters with us and helped make them so special. I will always remember you and Carol making the trip to Ireland for our wedding. You were a big hit, and I was so proud to have you there as my sweet, handsome Uncle.
I will miss you forever but know that you have a special bed in Heaven. Rest In Peace Uncle Vince you will be truly loved and missed forever.
Love Jill, Des, Olivia, and Dessie

THERE

Where is the heart? Home?
Where is home? Here? There?
Here is home, but a breath in time.
There is home eternal.
In a breath, we will be there.
