We where lucky to have Shirley and Walter as our neighbors for many years. We would see Walter in their yard first thing each day with his brown plaid jacket and cap. Working on projects, caring for the yard, visiting with friends, family and grandkids. Loading up the car for family time at their Gabriola cabin.
He was our soft-spoken friend with helpful ideas and a hand if we needed something done. Someone so familiar and kind makes him unforgettable to us.
