I just found this obituary and was very sorry to learn of his passing. I worked for Wayne at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs for many years starting in 1991. He was a quiet fellow, hard-working and well-respected by his colleagues at work and throughout local government.

We were so lucky to have Wayne as part of our Qualicum Beach family. Many summers spent with him and Judy watching our kids grow up. Playing golf hanging at the Legion and The Shady ( being a part of the 5 o´clock beer). He will be missed It is not very often that all your memories are fond ones but that´s the way it was with Wayne. Our thoughts are with Judy at this time as we sit here and reminisce at the celebration of his life.
