Wilf Van Dyck Obituary
Van DYCK, Wilf (Dick)
Wilf was born in Chilliwack, BC on June 17th, 1935 and lived in this province for his entire life.
On Tuesday, November 26th, 2024 Wilf passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by loving family.
Following graduation from high school, Wilf was hired by Woodward's Stores and enjoyed a 30 year career with them. Following this, he worked as a car salesperson and retired in 1997.
Upon retirement, he became a skilled watercolourist. Wilf painted both abstract and still lifes and was inspired by the beauty of BC.
The family is most grateful to Island Health caregiers and for the staff of Hospice Health at The Royal Jubilee Hospital.
Please remember him as a happy person. When asked how he was, Wilf always replied "Never better!"
