I'm only now (September, 2025) finding out that dear Bill Hapgood passed away. I knew Bill and Pat many years ago in Toronto when he raced a Morgan sportscar at the former Mosport Park track. He was the editor of our North Toronto Motorsports Club (NTMC) "Trackside" members' publication and a good friend of myself and Paul Ogden (RIP 2017) who were co-editors with Bill. When Bill and Pat "moved west" my former wife, Sydney Creighton, were able to stay at their apartment when on our honeymoon we went to the Canadian Road Race of Champions at Westwood circuit in BC in 1971. We lost track of each other after that but I did read about his seafaring exploits with his family! My sincere condolences to his family. He was a great guy, truly!
