I wanted to post this picture my dad Jim Harrison gave to me over 40 years ago . My dad worked with Bill in the 50s at Ironcraft and assume he took this pic'. I'm not sure of the story behind it but looks like fun .

I'm not sure if this is the Billy Vogler I went to school with. We went to Beacon Hill School and he had a sister Shirley. They lived on the corner of San Jose and Niagara Street in James Bay for a while. When Mrs. Ford our teacher left the classroom Billy and I began sword fighting with rulers, of course we were caught and both of us were called up to the front of the room where Mrs. Ford brought out the strap and gave us a couple of raps on each hand. Of course being a girl I went first. If this is the same Billy I remember, I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing. I will always remember him. If it's not the Billy Vogler I knew then I offer my sympathy to the William Vogler in the obituary.

The service, in case you missed it, was very real, heartfelt and unpreachy. My Dad would be pleased. Thanks Bruce for being there, you gave him the most well-deserved fun he had.

Bill was MY brother and best friend for many years. He was such an amazing sweet man to all that knew him. My children were also enriched by his presence in their lives. He left this world a MUCH better place....something we would all be happy to do
