Survived by his son Marq, daughter-in-law Debbie, grandchildren Zack & Josh, step-children Matt, Dan, Nancy, Tom and their children; Julia, Trevor, Amber, Jennifer, Johanna, Abby, Anna, Dustin and Cari. When real friends meet, they continue a conversation that began… who knows when? I met Julie and Zino in the 1980s when they kindly sponsored my Tai Chi and Chinese healing seminars on Vancouver Island. In later years, I visited them at their home in Alberta and here in Colorado. Julie was one of those rare people who combined clarity, wisdom, humor and love, and these qualities were also obvious to her students. And what a couple! Zino, a natural mystic, a lover of life, a comedian (in the past, sharing the stage with Danny Kaye), who wasn’t afraid to tell the most outrageous jokes in the most proper places! Julie and Zino, I will miss our conversations, our shared love of life’s little things (ice cream cones!), and your friendship. I know that you have both returned to that great current of Life that you so appreciated and honored.
