Colin WYLIE Obituary
WYLIE, Colin Everett . November 28, 1970 – August 03, 2014. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son at the Crossroads Hospice in Port Moody. Colin was predeceased by his wife, Lianne in 2009. He is survived by his daughter, Linia, his parents Margrete and Stan of Coquitlam, BC, his twin brothers Christopher (Leanne) of Stony Plain, Alberta and Cameron (Amy) of Coquitlam, BC, three nieces and his paternal grandmother, Muriel Wylie of Calgary. .Colin fought cancer for three years with courage, a very positive attitude and with determination to overcome the disease. Despite Colin's sickness he always had a great sense of humour. Colin was a very dedicated teacher with a passion for teaching PE to the elementary students in the Pinion, Chinle and Kayenta areas of Northeastern Arizona. He also loved his sports especially baseball and football. He will be dearly missed by his many friends and family in Alberta, BC, the USA, Scotland and Norway. A special thanks is extended to the medial staff at BC Cancer Agency, Fraser Health & Crossroads Hospice. .A celebration of life will be held at the Coquitlam Presbyterian Church on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:30 pm, 948 Como Lake Avenue, Coquitlam BC. In lieu of flowers anyone wishing may donate to either the BC Cancer Agency or Crossroads Hospice Society.
