Jessica Jasmyne Murphy
March 12, 1975 - July 31, 2025
Jessica passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Our family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by BC Cancer Agency and in her final days, the Hospice House Kelowna.
Jessica will be remembered as a loving Mom to her amazing daughters Lydia and Alyssa. She shared with them the gift of strength and empathy that will be with them forever. Over the years Jessica always had a special place in her home and in her heart for a variety of pets, who were often rescues.
Jessica was born in Beaverlodge, grew up in Alberta and then made British Columbia her home. In her younger years she was a figure skater and a pioneer as a female hockey player in the prairies. She was passionate about her work in aesthetics and then as a Lane Control Technician. Jessica was a creative soul who enjoyed music, gardening and crafts.
We find peace in knowing that Jessica will join our beloved Mom Doreen Murphy, brother Bernie D'Aoust and sister Shanda D'Aoust and her faithful poodle Duke who have passed away.
Jessica is loved dearly and will be missed by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Jessica Saturday August 30th, Old Mill Boathouse 2715 Esplanade Avenue, Port Moody, British Columbia at 1:00 pm.
