CHOMA, Ruth
On September 14, 2024, Mrs. Ruth Choma of Elk Point, formerly of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, passed away at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her brother, Maurice (Virginia) Bennett; sister, Doreen Topping; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, John; parents, William and Bertha Bennett; brothers, Ray Bennett, Norman Bennett, Bill Bennett and Gerald Bennett; sisters, Maureen Fontaine and Marjorie (Jack) Malm; brother-in-law, Grant Topping.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre (Pioneer Circle). Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating with interment at the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elk Point.
If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association care of 5626 51 Street, St. Paul, AB, T0A 3A1.
