Edith THOMPSON

THOMPSON, Edith Long-time resident of South Hill, Vancouver, died on July 4, 2013 at age 95. She loved her community, her work at the furniture office at downtown Woodward's store, and her church (first St. George's United, then Oakridge United). She was lucky to live at Royal Arch Masonic Home for the past 13 years of her life. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Earl, and survived by daughter, Lynn Johnson of Creston, 2 granddaughters and 3 siblings in the Vancouver area and their families. Her memorial service will be held at Oakridge United Church on Tuesday, August 13 at 11:00 am.
