Frances Wiggins Obituary

WIGGINS, Frances Ann December 23, 1955 - April 13, 2015 Frances passed away suddenly, due to complications from cancer. A devoted mother, daughter, wife, and friend, she leaves many to mourn such a good hearted person who was always generous and caring. She was born in Vancouver and attended Bayview Elementary, Kitsilano High School and UBC where she met some of her life-long friends and husband. At times she lived in the United States, Costa Rica and on Vancouver Island. She finally settled in Maple Ridge where she finished raising her children, worked part time and loved being part of a tap dancing group. She leaves behind her children, Joe and Julia Chipman, husband, Bill Chipman, her mother, Georgina, brother, James and a large extended family. She was predeceased by her father Leonard. Many will miss sweet Frances and the strength of character, perseverance and tolerance that she shared with all. Gone too soon but not forgotten.

Dear Joe and family - so sorry to hear about the recent passing of your Mom. (It was quite by chance, and shock, that I saw your mom's picture in the obituaries of the Sunday Province.) I first met your Mom when you and Taz became friends. We shared many years of driving to and from play dates, sleepovers, and soccer games etc. with you boys back in Elementary school days, and we even started scrapbooking our treasured family photos together. She was a wonderful lady, and I know a very loving mother to you and Julia. Please know we are thinking of you at this difficult time. Laura Eddy and family.
