. GAUTHIER, . Gerard (Gerry) Wilfrid . February 8, 1927 - April 25, 2014 . . Fully engaged in life both physically and mentally prior to his last week, Gerry passed away peacefully in the morning in the care of gentle and considerate staff at Royal Columbian Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. . He will be missed by Tillie, his loving wife and life companion of 62 years, daughter Louise and son Adrian, sister Lucille, and dear others including nieces and nephews, friends, and members of the community whose lives he touched in countless ways with a quiet generosity and ever-present sense of humour. . No traditional service, by request. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice. .

My sincerest condolences Tillie & family. Yes I will always remember Gerry's sense of humour which made a great impression on me from the first time I met him at my dad's when I was just a teenager to last year's family reunion.
