Norman Lund Obituary

LUND, Norman Herbert January 1, 1948 - January 29, 2014 Born in Smithers, B.C., he passed away at Richmond General Hospital. He will be missed by his spouse of 15 years Mila, daughters Christine and Carolyn, 3 grandaughters Kristina, Brittany-Lyn, Kayla, grandson Mark, great-grandson Kole as well as extended families and friends. The family wishes to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Richmond General Hospital. A celebration of Norman's life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2014, 12:00 noon at Acadia Beach, NW Marine Drive West of Spanish Banks, Picnic Area, Vancouver B.C.

Prayer for the Souls in Purgatory

O gentle Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament ever consumed with burning love for the captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on them.

Be not severe in Your judgments, but let some drops of Your Precious Blood fall upon the devouring flames.

And, Merciful Savior, send Your angels to conduct them to a place of refreshment, light and peace.

Norm,
You are one of my closest, dearest friends. We overhauled and tweaked computers together, shared the odd pint and we toured the waters around the city in the yacht you not only captained but maintained as well!. Perfect landings even in a crosswind! Gonna miss you buddy!
