Ruth Alexandra WILLIAMS

WILLIAMS, Ruth Alexandra September 14, 1921 - October 24, 2013 . Sadly, Ruth Alexandra Williams (nee David) passed away on October 24, 2013 at the age of 92. Born in Vancouver, B.C., third generation, Ruth graduated from York House School, attended U.B.C. and graduated with a B.A. from McGill University. She was a long-time member of the University Women's Club of Vancouver, the Kiwassa Club and a Gamma Phi Beta Sorority member. Ruth's many interests included teaching E.S.L., bridge, painting, ballet, golf and a love of horses and cats. Predeceased by her beloved husband, David John Williams, in 1990, she is survived by her loving family: sons Brian (Maureen), Kenneth, David (Diane) and daughter-in-law Dale; grandchildren Christina, Tyler and Gregory. A Graveside Service will be held at Mountainview Cemetery, 5455 Fraser Street, Vancouver on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 1:00 PM with tea to follow at the Celebration Hall on site.
