William DAVIES Obituary

DAVIES, William (Bill) "Mayor of West 18th" It is with heavy hearts we mark the passing of our much loved husband, father and grandfather on July 25, 2014 after a heroic battle with cancer. "Dapper" a BC Hydro Power Pioneer, 50 year friend of "Bill W" was recently honoured with a key to the Block for his unending dedication to the families, children & pets of his neighbourhood. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley, children Debbie (Ray DeWolff), Randy, grandchildren Kim, Laura, Brian DeWolff and sister Doreen King. No service by request. "Share the love - one day at a time"

With great sadness in my heart I wish love and peace to Shirley and family. Bill always had a hi and hug for me when he came to shop at Safeway. He took the time to always ask how I was doing I will miss you Bill. You showed so much strength through your battle. You will be missed!!!
