Passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchild at the Port Colborne Hospital on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the age of 76. Predeceased by her husband of 40 years Taylor (2007) and her son Matthew (1994). Loving mother of Jennifer, Tyler (Lise) and Jillian. Proud grandma of Colby and Abigail. Dear sister of the late Kent Scott and Lorraine (Glenn Perkins). Also survived by nieces and nephews. Linda was employed as a Registered Nurse for over 49 years working in places such as Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton before settling in St. Catharines for the last 30 years. Her nursing career was primarily as an operating room nurse, compassion, kindness, and empathy was felt by all that work with her, as well as the student nurses that she mentored.Linda's helpfulness and love of the sport due to her children led her to volunteer for the St. Catharines Rowing Club for many years. In addition to nursing, volunteering and raising her children she had a passion for cooking, gardening, golfing, and shopping. Linda loved her family and her friends dearly, and was always there for anyone who needed her.She will be truly missed by all those whose lives that she touched.Because of COVID restrictions visitation and the Funeral Service will be by invitation.
